Singer Rihanna got an early wake-up call at the London Hotel where she is staying.

According to Digital Spy reports, a fire has started in an elevator shaft of the Corinthia Hotel in Whitehall Palace forcing 300 guests, including Rihanna, to evacuate the hotel premises in the early hours of the morning. The "Where Have You Been" singer has taken the incident to her "Twitter" account revealing to her followers about the ordeal she had gone through.

"Roamin da streets since 6am!" Rihanna wrote on "Twitter." The 24-year old singer even posted her picture taken at the back of a cab wearing a grey jacket with a hood and dark sunglasses.

Rihanna looked really tired and she probably wanted have some sleep, however, she ended up in a situation where she was forced to evacuate the hotel as a result of the fire.

Meanwhile, the London Fire Brigade has also confirmed via their own "Twitter" account that there was no one hurt or injured during the fire incident at the hotel where the beauty from Barbados was staying.

"We dealt with a small fire in a lift shaft at a hotel on Whitehall Place, SW1 this morning. Rihanna was 1 of 300 evacuated, no-one was injured," the message said. The London Fire Brigade's Watch Manager, Javan Day, released a statement about the fire at the hotel. The manager confirmed that the fire alarm was raised at around six in the morning on the seventh floor of the hotel.

"The hotel staff was excellent and followed their evacuation plans to the letter. We dealt with the incident very quickly and fortunately the guests weren't outside for too long. I heard whispers that there was a famous tennis player at the hotel but had no idea Rihanna was evacuated," Javan Day said in the issued statement about the incident.

After Rihanna's amazing "Radio One's Hackney Weekend" performance, the singer is still in United Kingdom to film her show "Sky Living" with Nicola Roberts. The very busy Rihanna is also set to perform again on stage for the "Wireless Festival" in Hyde Park on July 8.
