Danielle Hibbert, 25, from Gippsland, was sleeping over at a friend's house in Darnum on Sunday night when she is believed to have left the house unannounced and disappeared.
Hibbert, a hairdresser, was discovered missing on Monday at around 7:10 in the morning. She did not report for work. She had also left her belongings, including her mobile phone, at her friend's house.

Police was told Hibbert was last seen inside the house going to bed at 11:30. No one had seen her leave, and police now believe Hibbert had left at her own accord.
"Our concerns are that something has happened to her," said Acting Sgt Simon Phillips. The officer noted that the young woman was suffering from depression, but he did not elaborate.
"This is definitely out of character for Danielle, she hasn't gone missing before," Mr Phillips added, saying Hibbert's family has become very worried.
No one is suspected of having a role in Hibbert's disappearance.
Police searched Moe River Wednesday, saying they had reason to believe she was in the area. But they found no signs of Hibbert. An air search for the young woman has also proved futile.
"We've done another search of the Moe River today with no success, so we're now in a holding pattern and will re-assess tomorrow morning as to where we go... in terms of dealing with search and rescue," said Warragul Police Sergeant Peter Rosenboom.
Sgt Rosenboom kept a realistic view about the missing woman.
"Obviously if the person's been missing for three days, it's highly unlikely they'd be alive," he told Warragul Citizen.
Hibbert may be wearing a black and grey shirt and blue and white checked pyjamas, police said. She is said to be 150cm tall, of slim-to-medium build, with fair skin and shoulder-length mousy blonde hair. Police called on the Aussie public to call 000 for any information that might help in finding Hibbert.
