Even after three weeks of its release, Akshay Kumar's "Rowdy Rathore" still remains the top choice for the audience and reigns at the box office.
Akshay kumar has come back to action with "Rowdy Rathore" after a gap of seven years and has again proved that he is the "Khiladi" of the Bollywood film industry.

The movie is said to be Akshay's first solo biggest opening ever. According to reports, the movie which was released on June 1 has already earned over Rs. 1.30 billion (INR 130 crore) at the box office in its third week and is still attracting a lot of people, thus making it one of the top-5 biggest grossers of Bollywood.
The success of "Rowdy Rathore" has set the box office on fire and has left behind Ra.One with Rs. 1.15 billion (INR 115 crore) and Agneepath with Rs. 1.20 billion (INR 120 crores). Akshay's action movie has taken the fourth place pushing down Salman Khan's "Ready" that earned Rs 1.21 billion (INR 121 crores).

Although, the movie was behind "Ferrari ki Sawaari" for the first three days by a small margin, it moved ahead in the race pulling in more audience towards theatres after Monday (June 18).
According to box office figures, Aamir Khan's "3 Idiots" still remains on top with Rs. 2.02 billion (INR 202 crore), while Salman Khan's "Bodyguard" and "Dabangg" are in second position with each amassing above 1.40 billion (Rs 140 crores).
Akshay Kumar's "Rowdy Rathore" has grabbed the fourth position with Rs. 1.30 billion (Rs 130 crore), leaving behind Salman Khan's "Ready" which had collected Rs. 1.21 billion (Rs 121 crores).
If "Rowdy Rathore" garners another Rs 120 million (INR 12 crores), it will become the top grosser next to 3 idiots.
Earlier, a popular trade analyst and well-known film critic, Taran Adrash, tweeted:
"#RowdyRathore is unstoppable. Remains first choice of moviegoers. Collected a humungous Rs 35 cr nett in Week 2. Total: Rs 114.5 cr nett," he wrote.
He also tweeted about the total box office collection of the movie each week.

The movie which is directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala features actor Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. The movie is a remake of Telugu film "Vikramarkudu."
