Kristin Davis, Aaron Sorkin Officially A Couple At 'The Newsroom' Red Carpet [PHOTOS]
News flash: Aaron Sorkin and Kristin Davis went public with their relationship Wednesday during the red carpet premiere of Sorkin's HBO series "The Newsroom."
Screenwriter Sorkin, 51, and "Sex In The City" star Davis, 47, left no doubt that they're officially a couple, kissing and embracing on the red carpet at the Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles last night.
"The Newsroom," which premieres Sunday on HBO, stars Jeff Daniels, Olivia Munn, Emily Mortimer, Dev Patel, Alison Pill, Chris Chalk and Trieu Tran.
HBO describes "The Newsroom" as "a behind-the-scenes look at the people who make a nightly cable news program.
"Focusing on a network anchor (played by Jeff Daniels), his new executive producer (Emily Mortimer), the newsroom staff (John Gallagher, Jr., Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Olivia Munn, Dev Patel) and their boss (Sam Waterston), the series tracks their quixotic mission to do the news well in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles -- not to mention their own personal entanglements," the network says.
Sorkin, who won the Oscar for adapted screenplay for 2010's "The Social Network," and was nominated in the same category in 2012 for "Moneyball." The acclaimed screenwriter also won multiple Emmys for his work on "The West Wing."
Davis is best known for her role as Charlotte on "Sex In The City." Her portrayal led to Emmy and Golden Globe nominations, both in 2004.
While Sorkin and Davis just made their relationship public, they've reportedly been together since May, according to the New York Post.
