Kate Middleton’s Another Fashion Repeat, Joins Queen for Diamond Jubilee Tour [PHOTOS]
Thrifty and practical Kate Middleton had worn a similar outfit worn in a previous event, which to some observers is ill-fitting for a future queen. The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a blue tweed coat and a headdress that she wore in events attended before.
It's no secret that Kate Middleton likes to repeat her wardrobe. Some find it wise, while to some it is a fashion nightmare or faux pas that should not be ignores. But amidst those who throw in their negative comments, they didn't stop the Duchess of Cambridge to yet again step out in a repeated outfit.
Last week, she had repeated another clothing to attend a wedding with the Duke of Cambridge. Kate is beginning to earn a reputation for re-using her clothes and no one in the royal family or the palace seems to mind, except probably for some naysayers.
The Duchess of Cambridge who had been a bargain-hunter even before she was married to Prince William has re-used articles of clothing for many different occasions. It was said that Kate bought her blue Missoni tweed coat from a favorite secondhand store near her family's home in Berkshire.
"The Stock Exchange" which is the store's name described itself as "the premiere venue for the fashion conscious bargain hunter." They have stocks of "nearly new" designer products such as Gucci, Issa and Miu Miu.
Kate joined the Queen and her husband to meet a crowd of 35,000 on East Midlands as part of the Diamond Jubilee tour. Many of the crowd were said to have arrived as early as 5 a.m. to catch a glimpse of the royals.
The excited crowd cheered and waved their flags as the royals stood between the pillars of the Council House balcony. They were to meet civic dignitaries before they attend a ballroom reception and drop a visit to Vernon Park in Basford for the "Fields in Trust" project, still in lieu with the celebration of the Diamond Jubilee.
