Tiger Woods is in the hunt for his 100th victory of his professional career and his second of the 2012 season this weekend at the Memorial in Dublin, Ohio.

Woods shot a 3-under 69 on Friday during a second round that was delayed by weather, and now trails leader Rory Sabbatini by just one stroke heading into the weekend. He is also tied with Scott Stallings and Spencer Levin at 5-under for the tournament.

Woods has won four previous times at the Memorial, his last victory coming in 2009. Were he to win, it would not only be his 100th professional victory, but his 73nd on the PGA Tour, which would tie him with Jack Nicklaus for second all time, nine back of Sam Snead's all-time record of 82.

At the other end of the spectrum, world No. 1 golfer Rory McIlroy shot a 7-over 79 on Friday and missed the cut for the third straight tournament.

Thanks to difficult weather conditions, Sabbatini's 6-under 138 is the worst two day score to lead the Memorial in 22 years. The weather forecast doesn't get a whole lot better throughout the weekend. The rain will stop, but the winds will stay in excess of 25 miles per hour for much of the remainder of the weekend.

Woods is back on the course at 1:20 on Saturday.
