Classic pop icon, Madonna, performed at the Tel Aviv stage calling out for world peace as she kicked off her 2012 world tour.

Madonna said that it was her personal choice to start her tour in Israel so as to help in encouraging everyone to stop violence. She added further that she could not accept them as fans if they would not be able to practice and promote peace to the globe.

She addressed to the crowd that if peace will start in the Middle East, then there will be peace in other parts of the world. Tel Aviv has been very supportive of the Madonna MDNA album which is the reason for the ninth world tour on record for the Queen of Pop even at 53.

Madonna is all set to reach Abu Dhabi next followed by Europe and the Americas. She will end her tour by the early part of 2013 in Australia where she has not performed for almost two decades.

During her concert, the pop icon danced in her usual flashy costumes which included the comeback of her cone busters which are now adapted by modern artists like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

She performed her hit song, 'Give Me All Your Luvin', with a mash up of 'Born This Way' by Lady Gaga and a classic 'Express Yourself.' Madonna's last tour reached a gross earnings of about $US400 million.
