The erotica trilogy, "Fifty Shades of Grey" may be banned from over a hundred libraries in the US alone but the popularity of the novel continues to rise.

In fact, E.L. James BDSM-themed book has captured even more celebrity hearts. The newest one to date would be "Pretty Little Liars'" Ashley Benson who astonishingly wants to play Anastasia Steele.

Ashley Benson may strike viewers as the fun loving gal who can do absolutely no wrong. Yet, the "Pretty Little Liars'" star might not be all innocent and sweet in her upcoming film, "Spring Breakers".

Alongside Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez, Ashley plays a group of college girls who rob a store for their spring break. The girls get into drugs, booze and smoke all the while flaunting their bikini bodies.

Well, it is obvious Ashley is incredibly talented at acting but can she handle a role that is border line between romantic and downright dirty? In an interview with Celebuzz, the blonde beauty surprisingly shared her interest in playing a role in a book that has got the world hooked.

Benson is ready to take on an even sexier and edgier role. The role would be none other than Anastasia Steele of "Fifty Shades of Grey".

"I've read every book. I want to play Anastasia," said Ashley.

Fans of Ashley had been petitioning for her to play Kate instead who is Anna's best friend. Yet, Ashley has already got her eyes set on the role as Anna.

"Kate is awesome. I like all the characters but Anastasia? I love her so much!," exclaimed Benson.

By the looks of it, there is no changing Ashley Benson's decision. A few other actresses who seem to be interested to play the 21-year old blonde in "Fifty Shades" include "Twilight" actress, Kristen Stewart. Fans of a few A-list celebs have also petitioned their own cast choices for Anna of who are Amanda Seyfried, Emilia Clarke, Sasha Grey, Selena Gomez and Nina Dobrev.

Lionsgate has still not released any details or plans to push through with the film. However, this has not stopped fans of the novels from creating countless lists of potential actors and actresses to play the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
