'50 Shades of Grey' Fashion: What Anastasia Steele & Christian Grey Could Be Wearing [PHOTOS]
Despite being banned from a dozen bookstores, E.L. James' best-selling novel, "50 Shades of Grey" continues to top the must-read book list.
Fans of the "Twilight" inspired novel are anxious to see who gets cast as Anna and Christian, while some have already lined up "Fifty Shades"-inspired outfits.
What would Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey be wearing if the plans to make the film finally push through? Plus who would be worthy enough to play the lead parts?
Every actor in Hollywood is lining up to get the part of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. "Vampire Diaries" stars, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have both expressed interest in getting cast in the film. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the actor says he has the "potential" to star in "Fifty Shades of Grey".
"Oh goodness! Potentially," said Ian, adding, "I absolutely would be up for that... Absolutely. That would be a pretty incredible thing. And hopefully that could pan out, I think."
What about Ian's onscreen and off screen beau, Nina Dobrev? Would Nina be up for the part as Anastasia opposite Ian Somerhalder?
"I don't know if that's a good idea," said Nina in an interview with MTV News.
"I think it's best for any of the actors on the 'Vampire Diaries' to kind of do their own things ... and create new characters. And as much as you try when you shoot a movie, if it's two of the same people, the fans will always see you as ... they'll see me as Elena and they'll see him as Damon if we do a film together," continued Dobrev.
A few other actors and actresses who have been hooked or have heard of the BDSM-filled novel are Kristen Stewart, Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker, Ryan Seacrest, Joy Behar and Barbara Walters.
So while the film is still in talks with Lionsgate and the cast remains unfilled, click on the slideshow and check out what Anastasia Steele, Christian Grey and other leads in the novel could be wearing.
Anastasia Steele’s outfit during interview with Christian Grey
“Excuse me one moment, Miss Steele.” She arches her eyebrow slightly as I stand self-consciously before her. I am beginning to wish I’d borrowed one of Kate’s formal blazers rather than wear my navy blue jacket. I have made an effort and worn my one and only skirt, my sensible brown knee-length boots and a blue sweater. For me, this is smart. I tuck one of the escaped tendrils of my hair behind my ear as I pretend she doesn’t intimidate me.
Christian Grey in Grey Suit
So young – and attractive, very attractive. He’s tall, dressed in a fine gray suit, white shirt, and black tie with unruly dark copper colored hair and intense, bright gray eyes that regard me shrewdly. It takes a moment for me to find my voice.
Christian Grey’s Visit to Clayton
“Miss Steele. What a pleasant surprise.” His gaze is unwavering and intense. Holy crap. What the hell is he doing here looking all tousled-hair and outdoorsy in his cream chunky-knit sweater, jeans, and walking boots? I think my mouth has popped open, and I can’t locate my brain or my voice.

…fellow English students and her usual photographer on her student newspaper. He’s given up taking photos of the drunkenness that surrounds him. He only has eyes for Kate. She’s all tiny camisole, tight jeans, and high heels, hair piled high with tendrils hanging down softly around her face, her usual stunning self.
Anastasia Steele's Party Get-Up
Me, I’m more of a Converse and t-shirt kind of girl, but I’m wearing my most flattering jeans.

““This is Kate’s dress.” I glance down at the grey chiffon halter neck dress.”
““You look lovely, Anastasia, this halter-neck dress suits you, and I get to stroke your back, feel your beautiful skin.”

Anastasia Steele's Contract Deal Outfit
“Shaking my head and endeavoring to quell my nerves, I decide on the plum-colored sheath dress for this evening. It’s demure and vaguely business-like – after all, I am negotiating a contract.”
“I slip on the plum-colored stilettos that match the dress, and I’m ready by six-thirty.”
““That too, but most of all, hot. The dress really suits you and your coloring. The way it clings.” She smirks.”
“I’m grateful that Kate’s plum dress is so clingy and hangs to the top of my knees.”
