Pushmataha County authorities have arrested Rhonda Michelle Ford, a 29-year-old teacher for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old student.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation in which Ford reportedly had sex upwards of 10 times with a student in Clayton, Okla. According to an affidavit filed on Tuesday, Pushmataha County prosecutors accused Ford of lewd and indecent acts with a child under the age of 16, second-degree rape, sodomy and allowing an individual un the age of 21 to consume alcohol, reported KOTV.

Following a two-month investigation, she was arrested in her home in Clayton.

The affidavit said that Ford and the teen became involved shortly after Valentine’s Day. The student told detectives that he and Ford had several sexual encounters that consisted of oral sex, upwards of 10 times.

The boy told police he could identify a tattoo on her pelvic region that is hidden by her underwear as proof of their relationship, reported the Daily Mail.

The documents also allege that Ford gave three students alcohol at her residence in March. Two boys and one girl had helped Ford move into her home. As a reward, she bought them a 30-pack of beer. The students told investigators that Ford even fixed a student a cocktail that consisted of pineapple juice and Malibu rum, reported KWTV.

Since this incident came to light, she has resigned from Clayton Public Schools.

From 2009-2010, Ford taught at Cleveland High School in Oklahoma, reported the Daily Mail. Karie Kellert, Assistant Superintendent of Cleveland Public Schools, said that her contract was terminated early. NewsOn6 asked if there were ever any problems while Ford was at the school.

"Typically we hire people on one-year contracts, so that may possibly be right," said Kellert.
