Stars Who Could Play Anastasia Steele in '50 Shades of Grey': From Jennifer Lawrence to Elizabeth Olsen [PHOTOS]
With the movie in talks, who should plau the innocent yet sultry, Anastasia Steele?
The "Twilight" fan fiction written by E.L. James has been the talk of the town. "50 Shades of Grey" has even managed to make it to the bestsellers list of the New York Times. Despite being a heavily written BDSM novel, the book continues to rise up the charts.
E.L. James e-book had been dubbed as "mommy porn," and was simply written out of context from the characters of the widely phenomenal "Twilight" flick. However, the S&M novel caught the attention of Twi-hard fans and even Hollywood A-list celebs namely Ian Somerhalder and Ryan Seacrest.
The movie is said to be in the works and potential actors have already been spotted. In Hollywood where innocent looking actresses thrive, who is the best bet to play the 21-year old virgin, Anastasia Steele?
"Twilights" leading lady, Kristen Stewart, had been the original concept behind the character of Anastasia. Given the chance that a few other actresses could play the role, KStew might have to step aside.
"Lovelace's'" Amanda Seyfried is one name repeated a few times as the best bet in various fan polls. The actresses' blonde hair could easily be dyed-brunette for the role of Anastasia. The same thing goes for "Hunger Games" star, Jennifer Lawrence. The 21-year-old actress would find it easy to portray an innocent-yet-sultry college student.
Another blonde bombshell who is currently making waves in the film industry is Elizabeth Olsen. The Olsen sister who gives off the innocent vibe is another actress who is suited to play the brown-haired and blue-eyed, Anastasia Steele.
Given that the book is filled with provocative BDSM, porn star, Sasha Grey, could easily be Anastasia Steele. Other actresses who could play the clumsy yet beautiful lead are Emily Van Camp, Emily Browning, Evan Rachel Wood, Margarita Levieva, Kaya Scodelario and Emilia Clarke.
Focus Features and Universal Studios are likely to have a field day with all the possible actresses to play Steele. For now, fans of the books are best left to their own imagination as to who could play the college student in E.L. James' novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey".
