The most awaiting Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort-2012 began in Mumbai Friday.

Many Bollywood actors turned up at Mumbai's Grand Hyatt Hotel on the opening day of the weeklong fashion event.

Actors like Prateik Babbar, Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora and Dia Mirza walked the ramp for the designers Masaba, Vikram Phadnis and Khushali Kumar.

Prateik walked the ramp for Masaba in a black and white bundhgala and Patiala salwars while Malaika Arora Khan and Amrita Rao walked the ramp for Vikram Phadnis with the designer's ethnic collections adding colors to the show.

Actress Dia Mirza walked the ramp in a backless, shiny and smooth gown for music maestro Gulshan Kumar's daughter Krushali.

Apart from those actors who walked the ramp, many other Bollywood celebrities like Karisma Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Neha Dhupia, Sonu Nigam, Farhan Akhtar, Sajid Khan, Milan Luthria, Ameesha Patel, Bhushan Kumar and Sangeeta Bijlani were also spotted at the fashion event.
