The biggest night in Hollywood's award calendar has finally come and gone.

The 84^th Academy Awards ceremony, held in Hollywood, California, on Sunday, saw an array of stars look as fashionably perfect as possible.

From Angelina Jolie, who sizzled in a black velvet gown with a thigh high split, to Jennifer Lopez in a cream gown by Zuhair Murad and from Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen black to nominee Shailene Woodley in a crochet-detailed long-sleeve gown, the stars were shining at the Oscars.

It wasn't just the women though.

George Clooney looked his best in his Armani tuxedo, while girlfriend Stacy Keibler looked gorgeous in an off-the-shoulder Marchesa gown.
