The 15th Elle Style Awards, by women's magazine Elle, was a star-studded affair, with many celebrities sasahaying down the red carpet at the The Savoy Hotel in central London, on Monday night.

The best actress award went to Oscar-nominated Michelle Williams while Eddie Redmayne was given the award for Best Actor. 

Nicholas Kirkwood won the award for Accessory Designer of The Year, while Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana was given the Best Model award. Singer Florence Welch won the award for Best Music Act. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who wore a revealing sheer cream "mullet" dress, was given the Style Icon award.

Actress Jessica Chastain won the award for Next Future Icon.

Designer Sara Burton, who won acclaim for her work on the 2011 royal wedding, was awarded as the International Designer of The Year. She received the award from supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Actress Christina Hendricks, who wore a floral patterned high-neck dress in stark contrast to BAFTA costume, was given the the award for Best TV Star. Alexa Chung hosted the awards ceremony. 

The awards ceremony also featured performances by Brit Award winner Emeli Sande with Professor Green. Guests including Christina Ricci, Tali Lennox, Gillian Anderson and David Gandy were all present at the occasion.
