"Twilight" hottie Taylor Lautner celebrates his 20th birthday on Saturday.
Formerly known as Sharkboy, Lautner has achieved huge success since taking on the role of werewolf Jacob in the "Twilight" films. He is is seen by many fans of the films as a young sex symbol because of his rock hard body and perfect abs.
Besides the "Twilight" fame, Lautner has appeared in roles in movies such as "Abduction" with co-star and rumored ex-girlfriend Lily Collins.
The actor's IMDb profile stated that he was born Taylor Daniel Lautner in Michigan to parents Deborah and Daniel Lautner. He has a younger sister Makena. Lautner began studying martial arts at Fabiano's Karate School at age six and was invited to train with seven-time world karate champion Michael Chaturantabut (aka Mike Chat), the Web site stated.
At age eight, Taylor represented his country in the12 years and under division in the World Karate Association and he became Junior World Forms and Weapons champion, winning three gold medals.
When Taylor was 10 years old, his family relocated to Los Angeles to help him pursue his love for acting. Lautner soon booked recurring TV roles on "My Wife and Kids," "Summerland," and "The Bernie Mac Show." He landed the role of Sharkboy in the family flick, "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D" in 2005. Lautner's big break came when he landed "Twilight" in 2008. He also appeared in the 2010 romantic comedy "Valentine's Day."
We can definitely keep an eye out for this stud because he should be appearing in more movies over the years.
