Anna Nicole Smith: Glamorous Playboy Starlet in the Movies
The life of Anna Nicole Smith was much like her idol Marilyn Monroe...The story of Smith's not less than a fairy tale..A lonely little girl, miraculously and fighting against all odds, eventually went on to follow in Monroe's footsteps to become a world-famous model and celebrity. Designing her career after the legendary starlet, Smith kicked off her career just as Monroe had decades prior - by posing for Playboy. Unfortunately, with her deep depressions, heavy drug abuse and subsequent premature death, the 39-year old pin-up queen also followed the legendary Monroe to an early grave, under equally mysterious circumstances.
Take a glimpse at some of her movies...
The life of former Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith was much like that of her idol, Hollywood's original glamour model and pin-up girl, Marilyn Monroe.
Smith, born Nov. 28, 1967, died of reported drug overdoses, while at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Miami, on Feb. 8, 2007.
Smith has often been portrayed as a lonely little girl (not unlike Monroe) fighting against huge odds... a survivor, who would do what it took to survive. She designed much of her career after that of the legendary star of the 50s. Just as Monroe did decades earlier, Smith posed for Playboy.
Unfortunately, given her troubled mental state, heavy drug use and rather excessive lifestyle, the controversial pin-up queen followed Monroe to an early grave.
Anna Nicole was never a prolific actress... in fact she acted in barely a handful of films all her career. Nevertheless, in honour of the 1993 Playmate of the Year, check out some stills of her films...

Illegal Aliens
This comedy science-fiction film was made in the mould of classic 1980s B-movies. The release of the movie was pushed back following the death of Smith in February, 2007.
