The dust hasn't even begun to settle on Katy Perry's weekend shout out's to Broncos quarterback, Tim Tebow, but the Christian football player has reportedly been linked to "Extra" TV entertainment reporter, Maria Menounos.

Tebow was introduced to the reporter this weekend, and was said to be overheard telling a friend at the ESPN party on Friday that, "Wow! She's not only gorgeous, she's really sweet too."

Besides reportedly seen getting cozy that night, the two were said to have crossed paths the rest of the weekend at other Super Bowl parties prior to the game.

While Menounos and Tebow's sparks might have been subtle, Katy Perry was making sure that the good Christian quarterback was blushing. Performing her first show since splitting from husband, Russell Brand, Perry dedicated her song "Peacock" to Tebow. "This one goes out to Tim Tebow," she announced as she started singing the lyrics, "Word on the street/ You have something to show me/ Come on baby let me see/ What you're hiding underneath/ Are you brave enough to let me see your peacock?"

Tabloids have been reporting that Perry's parents, who are ministers, have been trying to set the pop star up with Tebow, whose parents also happen to be ministers.

At the NFL Honors Ceremony, where Perry was presenting an award to Carolina Panthers quarterback, Cam Newton, she also took the time to give Tebow another shout out. "Hi, Tim," said Perry, "My parents say 'Hi.'"

Perrys advances on Tebow, joking or not, seem to have fallen flat, as it looks like the Broncos quarterback has no interest in becoming "Katebow." As of this moment, it looks like Menounos has made a touchdown.

So if sexy entertainment reporter Maria Menounos and squeaky clean quarterback Tim Tebow are really an item, we can only image the nicknames that will stir. Maybe "Menoubow?" Or how about "Tebounos?" Or possibly even "Timaria?"
