Madonna: 'I Like Kate Middlteton,' Plans to Direct Royal Couple Project [PHOTOS]
The queen of pop expressed her fascination on The Duchess and divulges a future plan to possibly direct a film about the celebrated Royal Couple.
After the premiere of Madonna's directorial debut, "W.E.," a film about the illicit affair that happened between King Edward VIII and American Wallis Simpson, she declared how much she adores Kate Middleton in a report.
According to sources, the "Material Girl" singer thinks highly of The Duchess, especially on the way she always presents herself in a classy manner. Aside from expressing her fascination, the singer also hoped that Middleton recognizes the work she has done as well.
"I like Kate Middleton and think she's quite chic and intelligent. I hope she's a fan of mine, too" says the 53-year-old entertainment veteran in a report by The Sunday Mirror.
It is quite possible that Middleton is a fan of Madonna, with close friends saying that the karaoke machine of her supposed 80's-themed birthday party filled with songs from the icon, and other 80's pop stars.
"Kate needs to enjoy herself while she can, though, so she can be forgiven for belting out a few Duran Duran and Madonna numbers on her birthday" said a source in a past report.
Madonna also spilled on how she is willing to direct a movie based on the romance and life of Kate Middleton and Prince William-as college sweethearts and as The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. However, the fresh director thinks this project won't be sellable for many more years.
"I think maybe it is too soon to make a film about William and Kate but I definitely would if I could wait a decade first."
Madonna recently won a Golden Globe for a song she did for her movie, "W.E," a controversial win over Sir Elton John that angered David Furnish (Elton John's long-time partner). Furnish posted a couple of Twitter updates bashing the singer, saying she is "narcissistic" and "embarrassing"
Furnish wrote "Madonna. Best song??? F*** off!!!" on his account.

Kate Middleton Pregnant 2012: Did Prince William's Wife Suffer a Miscarriage?
That's what Globe, a British magazine, is claiming. In its February issue, "palace insiders" assert that the Duchess of Cambridge, after becoming pregnant near the end of 2011, suffered a miscarriage just as Prince William prepared to depart for military duty as an RAF pilot in the Falklands. But is there any truth to the rumor? Judging by Globe's track record, we'd say not.
