There have been numerous vampires going head to head for the competition of who would end up as the best vampire couple but there are just about three major couples that hit the top ranks. 

From 'The Vampire Diaries,' 'True Blood,' and of course 'Breaking Dawn,' fans are sure to stumble upon the hottest couples that come with romantic fangs. It cannot be denied that 2011 has been considered to be the "Year of the Vampire," even if it has nothing to do with the Chinese calendar.

To nab the unique award of the Hottest Vampire Couple of 2011 have left the contenders far from winning this race of fanged characters. It may not be as big as winning the Oscars but it is one great honour to be considered as one hot couple in this genre. With the recent success of the latest series in 'Twilight', it is not surprising to find this couple emerging as the winner.

Other names which got included in the list of male and female vamps are Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, Candice Accola, Joseph Morgan, Kristin Bauer, and Deborah Ann Woll, amongst many others.
