Disney's Queen, Miley Cyrus, has announced her New Year's resolution: To finally quit smoking. The question here is, can Miley really do it?

"She knows it's going to be very hard, but she wants to kick her smoking habit - or at least cut it down quite a bit," a source close to the star told HollywoodLife.com. "She knows it's bad for her health and her voice, And she can't crack it very easily, especially when many of her friends smoke. So she's using her New Year's resolution as a potential reason for her to quit."

Despite being called a "pothead" and "fat," Cyrus remains rooted to her belief that she is perfectly fine with who she is and will show  her fans how remarkably strong-willed she is.

"What's up Miley World? It's Miley," says the singer in a video message, posted originally on MTV. "We're sitting here coloring. I just wanted to tell you guys, 'Have an awesome Christmas and a very happy New Year.' I'm really looking forward to 2012. Got some new ideas. I want to go on some cool trips. I want to travel and I want to make this the year that I go out and do what I'm here to do, and that's help people and make people happy."

Here's to hoping Miley will keep true to her New Year's resolution because she is one role model Hollywood and not to mention the world is keeping an eye on.
