Angelina Jolie is being sued for allegedly stealing a Croatian Journalist's story in her new film, "In the Land of Blood and Honey," according to Radar.com.

Author and Journalist, James J. Braddock, claims that Jolie's directorial debut steals its plot from an article he wrote in 2007.

The film, which will hit theaters on Dec.23, is about a Serbian commander who falls in love with a Muslim prisoner.

Rader.com claim to have got their hands on legal documents filed in federal court, and this is what the apparent lawsuit states:

"The Subject Work's main female character is subject to continuous abuse and rape by soldiers and officers in the camp. In addition to being raped continuously by soldiers and officers, she is forced to become a servant at the camp headquarters, a duty assumed by very few of the captives. The Motion Picture's main female character is also subject to continuous rape by soldiers and officers in the camp and subsequently becomes a servant at camp headquarters."

Braddock has demanded a jury trial for his case and is seeking to get compensated on unspecified damages.

Meanwhile Angelina attended the premiere of her new film in New York on Monday. This was the first time she stepped behind the camera to both write and directs a film.

"I was thinking and meditating on these international themes of violence against women, lack of intervention, and how human beings are changed and warped by war, and how some people come out stronger and some people are truly broken," Jolie told ABC anchor Christiane Amanpour, who covered the conflict in the 1990′s. "There's no safe way to tackle these subject matters, but I think the important thing is to discuss them and tackle them."

Jolie is a Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and a member of the Council of Foreign Relations.
