Captain Harry Wales, also known as Prince Harry, will be spending some time in the United States for military training.
The third in line to the British throne is coming this week for training for British attack helicopter pilots in Arizona and California, CNN reported. The training will take two months.
"The training in the USA will consist of environmental training, live firing and tactical exercises," a royal spokesperson said, the New York Daily News reported.
The prince will be training at the Naval Air Facility El Centro in California, CNN reported.
El Centro is a two-hour drive from San Diego and Palm Springs, according to the facility's Web site.
The prince will also train at the Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field, which is located in southwest Arizona, CNN reported.
His presence will no doubt cause a stir among admirers hoping to get a glimpse, but an El Centro public affairs officer told CNN that the royal prince will be treated like any other officer of his rank.
