Of course, Middleton sisters are known in taking Dukan diet. They maintain their stunning bodies by eating high protein meals and staying away from food rich in carbs. Pippa claimed that her idea of a hearty meal is green tea with a green leafy salad. Though this doesn’t sound so appetizing to other people, Pippa enjoys eating healthy. In fact, even her mom Carole is also on Dukan diet. Dukan helped the Middletons to redesign their eating habits so they won’t gain weight again.

But aside from her healthy diet, Pippa is also outgoing and active. She wants to stay physically fit by doing different outdoor activities and by having a regular exercise routine. As a party planner, Pippa is always on her toes. And one way to relax her body and mind is to do her exercise routine – Pilates.

“As someone who is always ‘on the go’, Pilates has been a wonderful escape from my busy lifestyle in London. Whether it’s 7 a.m. in the morning or 7 p.m. at night I always leave feeling calm, refreshed and invigorated.” says Pippa in an interview with OK magazine. Pilates is not only known in providing a strong core and toning legs and arms. Not everyone knows that Pilates have mental benefits too.

A lot of people think that Pilates is an exercise exclusive for females. But the truth is, everyone, regardless of gender, can benefit from Pilates. In fact, even professional football player Donovan McNabb was proud to tell on a national television that he prepares for his football games with Pilates.

“Over the past few months I have noticed a huge difference in my core strength. From breathing techniques and muscle toning to my overall flexibility and relaxation, my Pilates sessions have become a weekly necessity – one that keeps me fit, happy and energised.” stated Pippa on her Fulham based endorsement.

Pilates works in enhancing and strengthening core muscles with a series of slow and controlled movements. “The reason Pippa and so many celebs love Pilates is because it helps you tone up without getting bulky muscles, giving your body a longer, leaner look,” explained Marianne Jones, a Pilates expert.

Aside from doing the Pilates, Pippa is also engaged in different outdoor activities like field hockey and ice skating. Just like her sister Kate, Pippa enjoys playing field hockey where she can run around an open field. The sport is perfect to boost her physical strength, quick reflexes, and endurance. Ice skating, on the other hand, is Pippa’s favorite past time during winter. Aside from being a good exercise, Pippa uses ice skating to bond and socialize with her friends. It’s like hitting two birds using one stone.
