Lady Gaga and Kate Middleton top Halloween Costume Choices This Year [PHOTOS]
Because Lady Gaga and Kate Middleton have been making non-stop buzz for the past year, it's no surprise that many want to dress like them this Halloween.
According to a market research by ShopRunners, Lady Gaga and the Duchess of Cambridge top the list of the celebrities people want to dress up this as this scary season.
Lady Gaga, who makes it look like she's attending a costume party each day, upped the ante when she appeared at this year's MTV Video Music Awards dressed as a man she calls "Jo Calderone". If Gaga's meat dress and spiked brassiere became one of the most obvious costume choices last year, her cross dressing adventure will surely be a hit for both men and female Gaga fans all around the world.
The next celebrity to top the list is the Duchess of Cambridge, with her dainty, feminine looks that every woman wants to mimic. Though it might be expensive to copy Middleton's designer looks, people might want to consider cheaper knockoffs of her looks. It's not so impossible to see a woman donning Middleton's wedding dress this Halloween, with low quality replicas selling for only $50 and below. If only going to be used for a night of partying, this costume choice is sure to be on top of all the ladies' list. Middleton-like spectator hats are also expected to sell this season like pancakes after the Duchess has been seen wearing these little hats all year long.
Third on the ShopRunner list is singer Katy Perry, whose ensembles make as much noise as her songs. Known to sport cut out dresses, short tops, and denim skirts, Perry has made an indelible mark to the pop music scene with her young and fresh videos that evoke the lifestyle of a California girl. Because of the radical changes she has gone through over the year, it's not too impossible to see teenagers running around with Perry's clothes to Halloween parties this year.
