New Miss World Australia, Amber Greasley, admitted that she used to be bullied when she was younger, telling revelations of how she dealt with the harshness of it all.
The 18-year-old newly-crowned Miss World Australia might be on cloud nine after nabbing the coveted crown, but Amber Greasley shares how girls from her high school used to bully her all day long. The Journalism student from Brisbane recalls to the Herald Sun how she used to be isolated and treated badly, just like many high school students are going through.
"I have overcome a lot of my own personal obstacles. I was bullied really, really, badly," says the current beauty queen. Obviously, Greasly is pertaining to the bullying she was subjected to when she was younger. "I don't know why they did it. Girls can be vicious," adds Greasley in the same report, as if trying to hold back her tears.
"You feel like everyone deserts you and you are left by yourself, I guess it all helped me build a tough skin," recalls the current Miss World Australia in the same post. Greasley says she was not only a victim of bullying in school, but her cyber life was also the target of many girls who didn't too much of her back then. The stunning and elegant-looking brunette thinks that cyber bullying is a bigger problem than what people think it is.
Greasley will represent the nation in the upcoming Miss World 2011 pageant, which will be held in London on November.
