Obama names veteran congressional aide to staff

Philip Schiliro currently is director of congressional relations for Obama's transition team.

He has worked in Congress for more than 25 years. He was chief of staff to longtime Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., and the House Oversight Committee. He also served as policy director when Tom Daschle of South Dakota was the Senate's Democratic leader.
