Mo. man who posed as federal officer pleads guilty

Bill Anthony Jakob pleaded guilty Monday to impersonating a federal law enforcement officer and other counts. Sentencing is Dec. 19.

U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway says the 36-year-old represented himself as someone from the Drug Enforcement Administration, as an agent of a federal narcotics task force and as a U.S. marshal, all in the same month.

Jakob's attorney, Joel Schwartz, says his client is deeply sorry and is expected to get a sentence of about five years.
