Photos: Perseid Meteor Shower ... What Astronomers Saw While in Space [PHOTOS]

There is no doubt we got some eye-catching views of the Perseid Meteor Shower here on Earth. But during its peak over the weekend, NASA astronaut Ron Garan got somewhat of a front-row seat, as he was able to snap pictures of the Perseids — while in space — through a window of the International Space Station, or ISS, and posted them on his Twitter page.

This is what Garan saw.
