"Arrow" Season 2, Episode 13, titled "Heir to the Demon," introduces another badass villain to confront Oliver Queen. Nyssa al Ghul of the League of Assassins comes to Starling City to get the Black Canary. Meanwhile, fans are hoping to see the red-hooded Roy Harper in a proper costume now that things have changed a lot for him.
Spoiler alert: This feature contains spoilers on Arrow Season 2, Episode 13. Spoilers from previous episodes also included. Read at your own risk.
Since revealing himself to Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) in Arrow 2x12, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) now has a bigger team. Ollie, Diggle (David Ramsey), and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) now have Roy's superstrong help. Roy is likely to control the effects of The Mirakuru in his system.
Meanwhile, Katrina Law guest stars in Arrow Season 2, Episode 13 ("Heir to the Demon") as Nyssa al Ghul, another character from the DC Comics universe, about whom nothing much is known. She is the daughter of Ra's al Ghul of the League of Assassins. The League wants the Black Canary (Caity Lotz) back, but Sara Lance is not ready to leave Starling City just yet. She has so far won against all attempts to bring her back to the League's camp.
Nyssa al Ghul, in the Arrow TV version, is understood to be one of the biggest guns of the League. Fans are hoping to see more exciting stunts with Black Canary, The Arrow and Nyssa.
In Arrow Season 2, Episode 12, Roy Harper finally learns what's going on at the basement of the Verdant night club, where he works. He's expected to join Oliver Queen in the field more often. Naturally, fans are hoping he, too, would don a proper costume fit for his identity.
In the final act of Arrow 2x12, it seems Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) gets a visit from her long lost sister, Sara. Either she's hallucinating, or Sara is there for real. And the Black Canary is merely responding to Ollie's "She-needs-you" plea. It makes sense that Sara has decided to come out for her sister. However, the League is unhappy about it.
The former Mrs Lance, Dinah (Alex Kingston of "Dr Who"), gets abducted by the villains in Arrow Season 2, Episode 13. (Hell hath no fury like an outraged Black Canary.)
Stephen Amell, on his Facebook page, tells fans to never miss Arrow Season 2, Episodes 13, 14, and 15. He seems particularly proud that the series has many female superheroes, and now two are pitted against each other by the League of Assassins.
In Arrow 2x12, The Arrow and Roy Harper confronted Ben Turner, aka Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White). The stunts were good as usual, but the Black Canary alone is a level up from that. Perhaps Amell is not merely hyping up Arrow Season 2, Episode 13. It must be a must-watch!
