Ajay Devgn's action comedy film "Himmatwala" has been declared an epic disaster at the overseas box office.
The TOIFA Awards 2013 held over the weekend, in Vancouver, Canada, was attended by several celebrities of Bollywood. A-listers like Aiswarya Rai and husband Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri, Priyanka Chopra and others posed for the shutterbugs on the red carpet.
"Chashme Baddoor" starring Ali Zafar, Siddharth, Taapsee Pannu and Divyendu Sharma collected approximately ₹19.20 crore in its opening weekend at the domestic box office.
After a good start on the opening day, David Dhawan's directorial film "Chashme Baddoor" has seen a rise in collections on Saturday.
Anurag Basu's romantic comedy film "Barfi!" has won seven awards including for Best Film at TOIFA held in Vancouver, British Columbia. The three-day long award ceremony ended on 6 April with Bollywood celebrities like Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and others giving out mind-blowing performances.

Sajid Khan's remake of 1983 film "Himmatwala" failed to cross the ₹50 crore mark in its first week at the domestic box office. The action comedy flick starring Ajay Devgn and Tamannah raked in just ₹44.89.
Last week's release "Himmatwala", a remake of 1983 film, fell flat at the Indian box office as well as overseas centres. This Friday, another remake film "Chashme Baddoor" is due for release.
