By @peevesky on

Apple will be on a roll this week, as the market waits for its Oct 22 event. Many reports suggest Apple will be unleashing its series of refreshed products during the event. These products include 2013 Haswell MacBook Pro, iPad 5 and iPad Mini. Aside from unleashing products this October, it was also reported that Apple plans to unveil its latest Mac Pro this Nov 17.

The sleeping giant has awoken.

It has been quite some time since Apple last released a series of products. The market waited long for the iPhone 5s and 5c. The same goes for the time frame for its MacBook Pro, iPad and iPad Mini series. Apple has not said a word for the most part of the year, but the tech giant finally broke the silent streak. Last September, the market saw the latest iPhone 5s and 5c.

This month, it will be the MacBook Pro, iPad and iPad mini refreshed editions.

2013 MacBook Pro

There is one standout detail from all the reports surfacing about the 2013 MacBook Pro - people expect it to receive a Haswell upgrade. This will give up to 80 percent improvement on battery life. Other reports also said the MacBook Pro may feature PCIe storage and Sharp 4k2k IGZO offering up to 3,840 x 2,160 resolution. Longer battery life and better screen resolution support should make the 2013 MacBook Pro a machine to watch out for.

Reports indicate Apple will announce the 2013 MacBook Pro this Oct 22.

New Mac Pro

A French website,, reported that the latest Mac Pro announced last WWDC will hit stores Nov 15. The latest cylindrical Mac Pro will feature a more compact design than the previous model. It will also reportedly be lighter. Other reported specs include a 12-core 256-bit Intel Xeon processor and 1,866 MHz of DDR3 RAM.

Apple will also include a number of ports such as six Lightning 2.0 ports and four USB 3.0 slots. There are no details yet on how much this will cost.

2014 MacBook Air Convertible

The 2013 MacBook Pro is not the only one making waves. Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities predicted that Apple will be releasing a MacBook Air converitble in 2014. According to his statement:

"We expect the unprecedented 12" model will boast both the portability of the 11" model, and productivity of the 13" model. The high resolution display will also offer the outstanding visual experience of the Retina MacBook Pro. The offering will likely be lighter and slimmer than the existing MacBook Air to further highlight ease of portability in the cloud computing era. We think the form factor will showcase a much improved clamshell structure, and that it will redefine laptop computing once again following the milestone created by the MacBook Air."
